This project consists of a new BSL-4 laboratory facility. The new facility also includes BSL-2, BSL-3 and BSL-4 lab space, animal lab space and office space. The project scope included expansion of existing facility infrastructure to support the new facility. This building has been designed to prevent progressive collapse and for anti-terrorism force protection (ATFP) based upon the threat assessment.
