Experience

Dr. Swensson has more than 22 years of experience in structural design, design supervision and project management for almost every building type and size. He is known for developing creative solutions to help bring designers' visions to reality. His activities with national structural industry committees dealing with seismic, composite structural systems and structural steel provide information and insight that are used to provide creative structural solutions for our clients'. Kurt has published or presented more than 40 papers or articles on the local, national and international level. The contacts made in committee work and through conference presentations provide a wide network from which to gather information on the cutting edge of new technologies and practical solutions in structural engineering. Dr. Swensson works throughout KSi to apply these concepts and systems to our clients' projects where they can provide the most value.
